Sara Valentine
Services & Practices:
• Embodied Voice-Empowered Self Facilitator
• Licensed Antigym® Practitioner (Thérèse Betherat Method-self awareness through conscious movement)
Sara Valentine was born and raised in Western Massachusetts, in the suburban town of Wilbraham, Home of Friendly Ice Cream. She attended Ithaca College in upstate New York where she studied Theatre. She has been a professional performer and theatre educator for 30 years, and is currently an Associate Professor of Theatre at the University of Southern Maine.
In 2005, while attending graduate school at the University of Delaware Professional Theatre Training Program (PTTP), Sara had a profound experience with her voice working with two guest artists from the Roy Hart Voice Center (located in Malérargues, France.) The intensive was nothing short of mind-blowing for Sara as she began to forge a new relationship to this thing called "voice." In 2011, she made her first trip to Malérargues to deepen her work in the Roy Hart Approach studying "embodied" or "extended" voice.
In 2012, she found the book The Body Has Its Reasons by French physiotherapist, Thérèse Bertherat, and thus began her autonomous journey with Antigym®. Using conscious movement to awakens one's self-awareness and connection with the body, Antigym® has become a primary focus of Sara's teaching; she became a licensed Antigym® practitioner in 2025.
As an instructor, Sara works to help students rediscover and strengthen their inherent physical voice-breath-movement connection while also creating a harmonious and sympathetic relationship to one's voice and one's self. Playful and imaginative, Sara infuses her classes with a sense of joy and delight with the belief that this type of exploration can be inspiring, filled with wonder and creativity, as well as deeply cathartic.
Sara is also the co-founder of Really Inventive Stuff, a vaudeville-inspired theatre company presenting programming for young audiences with symohony orchestras.

Kimberly Womack
Services & Practices:
• Mental Health & Equine Assisted Therapist
• Embodied Voice-Empowered Self Facilitator
Kimberly’s reverence for the interconnectedness of all living things began when she was a young girl in New York exploring the outdoors, climbing trees and adventuring with her furry 4-legged friends! Her love of the natural world led her to Cornell University to study animal science, psychology and natural resources. She had an extraordinary opportunity to work for the National Park Service in Arizona and Oregon, interpreting the wondrous natural beauty for visitors.
When she returned to New York, she welcomed the wisdom of horses to her practice in the form of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. She has now been practicing mental health counseling for over 25 years, and has worked in private practice and university settings. Her professional delegations to Rwanda, Malawi and Bhutan have been remarkable highlights to her career, polishing her attunement to the human experience.
Kimberly approaches her daily interactions with a ready mind, an open heart and a clean slate. She holds your story gently, without judgment, conditions or assumptions. Her soul smiles as she appreciates the gifts of her work, her family, her pup Huckleberry and her wisest equine partner, Luna.
